Ai Jing was born in 1969, in the mainland of China, Shenyang City, Liaoning province. Her father loves traditional music and is good at playing various chinese musical instruments. He was Ai Jing's 1st music teacher who introduced her to the music field of study. Ai Jing's mother is a Manchurian and was ever a chinese opera actress when she was young. All of the above-listed those had such an effect on Ai Jing that she loves performaning art very much. Ai Jing went into Shenyang Art Academy to specialize in vocal music after graduating from school. Later, she joined Shenyang Song and Dance Ensemble and performed with the ensemble in China. She was only 17 years old at that time.
